Guidelines for Starting a CTFCM Men’s Group
1. Pray
2. Meet with Priest/Pastor
3. Obtain buy-in from Priest (invite him to participate, but not lead)
4. Secure a meeting place (parish hall, etc.)
5. Set time for weekly meeting
6. Announce meetings (bulletin announcements, flyers, pulpit talks, etc.)
7. Schedule kick-off meeting (if necessary)
8. Personally invite men to attend
9. Refer to NFCM (leading a small group meeting) Booklet
10. Decide on a course study guideline book for group (Brothers, Signposts, etc.)
11. Provide coffee and donuts at meetings
12. Provide name badges for men
13. Manage weekly meetings to pre-set time frame
14. As group size grows identify and guide table leaders
